IAVANTE´s Innovation and Technology department has agreements and collaboration programmes with various public and private institutions in order to optimise and pool progress made in technological innovations applied to healthcare in the interest of public wellbeing and professional development. The following are the most important of these agreements:
1. The Information Technologies Division (STI) of the Andalusian Health Service (AHS). The STI and IAVANTE work together on interoperability, data exploitation and mining applied to the electronic medical record programme in Andalusia.
2. Institute of Innovation for Citizen Welfare (I2BC). A permanent collaboration programme focussed on open, user-based innovation. Both organisations jointly take part in projects and events related to their area of interest, such as open innovation methodologies, user participation in innovation processes, the Ageing Well programme and Telepresence.
3. The ENoLL Association, and coordination of its thematic health network. Living Lab Salud Andalucía is a member of the management board of the European Network of Living Labs, ENoLL, and coordinates the Network´s health department.
4. eVIA Platform. The IAVANTE Foundation is a member of the Spanish Technological Platform for eHealth, eWellness and Social Cohesion, and is active in several work groups: ECOLAB (ecosystems, innovation open areas and living labs), Coordina 2 (group for coordinating and revitalising information technologies for healthcare and wellbeing), secSALUD (privacy and security in healthcare) and Telemedicine.
5. Spanish Society of Health Informatics (SEIS). IAVANTE collaborates with SEIS on various programmes related to the application of innovative technologies, interoperability and the legal aspects of healthcare, these include publishing articles in the I+S journal, taking part in working groups to prepare reports to be published nationwide and giving talks at various events organised by SEIS.

6. TICBioMed. TICBioMed (eHealth Technology Network) and IAVANTE work together to seek funding, submit funding proposals for technological innovation projects applied to the healthcare sector and events related to healthcare ICT clusters.
7. ITACA / IBEME (Polytechnic University of Valencia). The Biomedical Informatics group at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and IAVANTE´s Innovation and Technology department jointly take part in events, organise training activities on standards and interoperability applied to the health sector, and also analyse possible research lines on subjects related to biomedical informatics.
8. Intersystems Spain. The department collaborates with Intersystems Spain to implement and provide training on the use of an integration and development platform for the Digital Laboratory for Healthcare, one of the innovation scenarios promoted by IAVANTE within the Living Lab Salud Andalucía framework.
9. Sheffield Hallam University. IAVANTE has visited and established a number of contacts with Sheffield Hallam University aimed at developing joint research activities related to 3D simulation applied to training, exchange of professionals and participation in various European and Latin American project networks.
10. Bello Horizonte. The IAVANTE Foundation addressed the 4th Brazilian National Telemedicine Congress on telemedicine in Andalusia. IAVANTE also participates in the EHLEAL Consortium which allows collaboration on proposals and projects of international nature.
